Hike:easy 1-1/2 mile with some tricky rocks at the end

Enter the towpath on the downstream side through the white wagon wheels and
head downstream. stop and tour the lock tenders house at lock #23 it was
built in 1823. Continue downstream, walk the plank, pass lock #24 and "The
Old Swimming Hole". Just before the large abandoned Train trestle abutment,
Follow the small trail to see the "Indian Grinding Stone", at the waters
edge count three old trestle abutments out (count the one at the trail),
step from rock to rock out to the third abutment. At its southeast corner,
under large rectangular rock, between the abutment and small four way tree
you will find a box.
